Announcing filtered approval

Magpie’s algorithms are extremely powerful in selecting twitterers – finding perfect matches for our advertiser’s campaigns.

For quite some time now, Magpie has been allowing advertisers to hand pick twitterers for their campaigns to refine our selection either before participation or “post-tweet”, i.e. after their first tweet has gone out. Especially those customers who manage significant budgets on Magpie have asked us for tools that speed up this process – helping them to approve twitterers even faster and provide the network with more quality Magpie-tweets.

We’ve listened closely and are happy to introduce filtered approval today. Using filtered approval, advertisers can approve (or block) a large number of twitterers which are matching certain criteria all at once. As of now, filtered approval is live on all advertiser accounts and can be accessed via the twitterer review dashboard.

As with every new feature, we are very keen on hearing your feedback. Please feel free to comment here, send emails or contact us via Twitter.

this is great, but I suggest that magpie also have some way for publishers to see their performance in magpie. Maybe how many clicks received.

Thank you for your suggestion, zuls. This is on our list. We're actually getting closer to this right now: http://be-a-magpie.com/blog/2009/11/24/introducing-improved-click-tracking/
