Ad Rephrasing

Ad RephrasingThis exceptionally powerful feature allows twitterers to put your campaign message into their own words. Magpie's rephrasing tool enables twitterers to consider your product, services or proposition and evaluate the benefit they believe their followers would be most interested in.

Our experience indicates that rephrasing generates a 32% increase in follower engagement and a more conversational campaign approach, we strongly recommend that all our clients enable this function. However, if due to brand requirements or industry regulations this is not suitable, you can simply disable this function by unchecking the box within your campaign settings.

Budgetary Management

Budgetary ManagementOur system allows you to define three types of budgets:

  • your total campaign budget,
  • your daily campaign spend, and
  • how much you want to spend per 1000 followers reached (CPM).
This three-tiered approach provides you with absolute control over how your campaign budget is being spent.

Keyword & phrase Recognition

Magpie's twitterer selection algorithm uses keyword and phrase recognition to identify and benchmark potential twitterers for your campaign. When selecting your keywords and phrases, it's important to think about the broader context and meaning of each word. Get creative, and envisage the conversation that might surround your campaign. Use these rather than ones that describe only your product or service.

Language Recognition and Country Filter

Country FilterMagpie works on a global platform and as such, our system allows for language recognition – matching the languages utilized in a twitterer's message timeline to the language utilized in your ad.

Language recognition is an integrated and automatic feature. Whenever you enter a message, we will detect the language that message is written in and will only select twitterers who tweet at least three out of ten tweets in that particular language.

Additionally, you can use the country filter. The country filter is designed to enable you to air your campaign with twitterers in a specific country, helping to concentrate your campaign.

When used together, these two features can assist in targeting very specific groups.

Reporting

Reporting As a Magpie client you have access to a number of analytics tools designed to assist you in getting the most out of your campaign. Per campaign these are overall twitterer reach, click through rate, individual twitterer’s bio and twitterer performance. All of these can be reached via the dashboard within your account. To activate this reporting function, you will need to check Activate Click Tracking under the advanced options of your campaign settings.

Repetition Limitations

Managing the repetition and frequency of your ad message (when and how often it appears in a twitterer's timeline) is important for credibility and engagement, and ultimately your campaign ROI. The Magpie repetition limit function enables you to control specifically how often your message may be published by the same twitterer. Our default setting is once per day, meaning each twitterer will air your ad only once within a 24hr period, however you can select from just once (ever) through to twice a day per twitterer. When used in conjunction with rephrasing and multiple campaign execution - this feature assists in generating natural conversation and buzz surrounding your campaign.

Twitterer Selection

QualityTwitterers are selected based on relevance. The Magpie selection algorithm scans the content of all our twitter's message timelines and grades this according to keyword and phrase concentration and time lapse. Only those that meet our relevancy benchmark are selected for participation.

As a Magpie client you also have the opportunity to further refine this list either prior to their participation (via the pre-selection function) or based on their performance, post tweet.
